Welcome to Shea Homes! Built on a history of over 128 years in the construction business, Shea Homes expanded to the Carolinas in 1994. The history of our parent company, J.F. Shea, includes helping construct great American icons such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Hoover Dam, and BART in San Francisco. A fourth generation of Shea's live right here in Charlotte, and personally oversee the operations of the Carolinas division. Shea Homes is the largest, privately held homebuilder in America.
